Filmmaker Statement

This is a music video about caress, touch and affection as a healing process and as a vital force. This is a project that shows the importance of being close to ones we love. Everything in this project was conceived and executed with great affection and care to tell this story that, in a simple and poetic way, speaks of love and the importance of being connected and present in the lives of those we love. Everything you see on the screen is the result of meticulous craftsmanship. From the puppets to the scenery, passing through the elaboration of the script, everything was thought, created and built specifically under the inspiration of the lyrics, the tone and the melody of the music by Renato Novaes. As a director, it is very beautiful, at this moment, to talk about these feelings, as we collectively went through a long period of isolation in which being close to those you love was risky and any physical contact and affection was reckless.
