Filmmaker Statement

I love romance films. From "About Time" to "Sleepless in Seattle", love stories in movies bring my joy. However I found that in the large list of romantic films, few depict the time where love can fade. Characters always say they want to "grow old" with the person that they love but we rarely that side of the story. The beginning of love is exciting but love over many years is what interested me to write this film. Stacy & Casey was my first ever short film and holds a special place in my heart because it was the first time I was able to work with actors on such a deep level.
