Filmmaker Statement

Our film was shot by an international group from Russia, Italy and the United States, on the island of Sardinia, near the city of Tempio Pausania. It is a tiny town surrounded by a large number of private farms. During preparation for the film, I communicated with locals, trying to understand their way of living in a short time. For me, an urbanite, that was an unusual environment. In the city, people are constantly in a rush, stress, and instability. Here, the situation was the opposite: people felt calm, in harmony with themselves, and the world around, understanding what tomorrow going to be like. In the city, everything that happens in your house, in most cases, remains there, but in the small village personal drama immediately becomes the public domain. It was this local reality, from which both the character and the plot of the film were created.
