In sunlight, I notice you. In twilight, I want you. At midnight, I need you. In moonlight, I love you. At first light, I destroy you. Upon writing this poem in October 2021, I embarked on making a film that explored the cycle one experiences when first confronting true love. To: Everything I Love explores this confrontation through the lens of the rapidly shifting landscape technology and AI are bringing upon humans and society at large. Personally, the work is an expression and abstraction to much that I love. Dance, jazz music, storytelling, and Gene Kelly movies. I am grateful to this cast and crew for giving this work their time, talents, and supreme energy. To: Everything I Love was in production at the height of the Omicron COVID surge in January 2022. That this film exists is a testament to the generous spirit of the artists that collaborated on it. It is with love and gratitude that I give you, To: Everything I Love.
