"It’s a harmonised argument between the singers, and so I transposed (read, stole) this idea, but decided to make the subject of the argument the group itself. This seemed quite neat to me, something that could turn in and in on itself, and would potentially marry the act of harmonising with the meaning of it (i.e. being harmonious and united versus being discordant and in opposition). This made me feel the idea was universal enough to run with, not a parody of any particular group but rather a comment on the nature of groups."
