Filmmaker Statement

I have a very personal connection to the story of this video. I had written something about mixed feeling before, when it comes to loving someone. I thought it would work great with the lyrics and music of "Wrestling with Plato" if I could picture the music based on this script. It became a base for the story behind the video: "The very first time my eyes locked into her eyes, I felt the fear. I felt a combination of both fear and being alive! A feeling that on one hand made me want to be alive and continue, to stay, to live, to have a dream and to love. On the other hand: Being stationary. A feeling of being stuck in time and location. A weird feeling like all your senses have all been activated at once. While the time passed slowly and felt like everything had stopped. For a moment, I had nothing on my mind.
