During the earlier days of covid lockdowns it was amazing to be able to connect with other creatives in a safe and isolated lake house to tell the story of a man struggling with loneliness. Balancing the darkness of the main character Will's story with the human ability to find light and meaning in life was a great challenge. I've always enjoyed the ability of the arts to hold the human struggle in the balance and no other time has felt more appropriate than the first year of the pandemic.
