Filmmaker Statement

The characters in All Boys are very close to my heart. They’re each based on real students, teachers, and priests I grew up with. This short film serves as a proof-of-concept for my feature screenplay. The rest of the story delves deeper into the lives of Conor, Lewis, O.D., Pat, Miss Gallo, and Father Frank as they navigate their remaining two days together in the aftermath of this chaotic Telephone game. I wrote All Boys because I want to see my high school experience represented on screen. I’m thrilled to finally share this short film online, and I can’t wait to continue telling this story.
