Filmmaker Statement

In 2 days what can you do to make a comedy compelling with the story? Do you focus on the character more or the story itself? Why not the actions of the character. My crew and I were looking to make this a modern slapstick. Our main character being an artist who can't seem to catch a break helps mesh with our comedy element through the actions he takes due to his quirky personality.
