Funerals have become another arena in the modern era where people compete for social relevancy and clout, where an individual’s proximity to the departed forms a unit of social currency to be traded upon. This short hopes to poke fun at these narcissistic tendencies within us and aims to emphasize how competing with other people prevents us from honoring the important moments that life throws our way.
