The idea for Night Walk came from observations on how we feel and communicate during the night, when we walk alone. The narrative unravels with suspense and humor as the characters of the film, unable to communicate with each other, are left to be (mis)guided by their impressions. In the background appears a silent character: the city of Stockholm. The rain, the wet empty streets, the neon lights, the dark alleys and the symmetrical buildings are both intimidating and disorientating as Kate finds herself lost, while the city reflects her own fear and alienation back at her.
