Filmmaker Statement

Being the neurotic writer that I am, I one day found a six of spades playing card lodged in the december 6th page of my planner. I continued to have incredible anxiety and phoned all my family and friends who began to think I was going crazy. So, I wrote a short about my crazy tirade while also trying to showcase the sweetness of a complicated yet incredibly loving relationship. This film was made in a few hours with zero dollars with some friends from my acting workshop in North Hollywood. We had a lot of fun making this and our objective from the start was to follow in the footsteps of John Cassavetes. Guerilla style filmmaking and focusing in on the performances. I hope you enjoy.
