Was utterly enthralled by some jellyfish when I went to the Oceanarium in Lissabon with my sister earlier this week and I just couldn’t stop recording them. I had so much footage I felt like I had to do something with it, so it turned into this short film! The visuals are accompanied by two poems, “Five Things Said by the Deity’s Lover” was previously published online and in print in “Heartlines Spec”. “Elegy for the Deity’s Lover” is a previously unpublished poem. Both are some of my favorite things I’ve ever written. Hope you enjoy! Narrated in Dutch but subtitled in English (the poems were originally written in English).
