Filmmaker Statement

Time Glitch was built around the premise of a prolonged sense of mystery and suspense, like Pulp Fiction’s briefcase or Jurassic Park’s T-Rex appearing only half-way into the film. We wanted each viewer to fill any open questions with their own assumptions and ideas, creating a unique experience for themselves. “Sicario” by D. Villeneuve and “Tenet” by C. Nolan were a big influence in terms of the dark tone as well as the sense of mystery and suspense, which we tried to amplify through the film’s color grading and soundtrack. I truly hope that whoever watches Time Glitch is transported away from their day to day lives and is sucked into a sci-fi thriller environment, experiencing a sense of mystery and suspense, as well as questioning the concept of a multiverse.
