Sarah Lois Dorai is a Malaysian filmmaker whose Kelabit heritage has greatly influenced her choice of work to amplify women’s voices as well as indigenous narratives. In 2021 she made her long form debut alongside a line-up of female writers & directors for Malaysian movie “Sabalik Baju” that quickly became the No.1 Top Movie in Malaysia on Netflix within its first two weeks of release.
