Filmmaker Statement

Attention all you cinephile-nerds, cat-lovers, and time-travel enthusiasts, Time Traveling Through Time has arrived! This black and white, photograph-only, sci-fi parody is a love letter to the 1962 arthouse classic La Jetée, and a middle finger to the laws of time and space. Throughout the film, we follow the story of a wannabe film director who gets lost in his own arthouse fantasy and finds himself in a battle against the tenets of time-travel itself. But really, let's be honest, who hasn't? As the story unfolds, it becomes clear that the true hero of the film is not the director, but the cleverly placed intertextual references that will make you feel like a real film buff. Using irony and a dash of dry humor, Time Traveling Through Time is a film that will make you laugh, scratch your head, and maybe even question the meaning of life, or at least the meaning of time and space in cinema. With Julian Richings as the narrator, this film is a wild ride through the borderlands of art and cinema. So grab your popcorn, put on your thinking cap, and step into the temporal stream. Did we mention we have cats in the movie? /\___/\ ( o o ) ( =^= ) (________) (__________) (__________)))))))))))
